Check out local drivers Brian and Kayleigh Perkins, both Kentlake High graduates at the hydroplane races this weekend at Seafair. Brian Perkins will be competing in the Albert Lee Cup while Kayleigh Perkins will be testing in the Oh Boy! Oberto boat at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Action begins with unlimited light hydros around 9 a.m. each day with gates opening at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday then at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday for the finals.

Hydros will be at the Stan Sayres Pits near Genesee Park on Lake Washington. The entrance is located on 43rd Avenue South between Genesee Street and Lake Washington Boulevard.

Tickets are available at seafair.com. Admission is free on Friday, $30 on Saturday and Sunday. Discount weekend tickets are available at 76 Stations for $25 for a weekend pass. Seniors, 65 and older are $5 per day.

Pit passes are $10 in addition to general admission while a guided Pit Tour is $5.
