Tahoma sophomore gymnast Tenley Mjelde finished second in the all-around category with a score of 36.55 at a four-team meet Jan. 28 at Peak Gymnastics in Enumclaw.
The Bears finished third overall as a team, with 148.75 points, behind Enumclaw, 159.05, and Bonney Lake, 158.00. Sumner was fourth with 134.65.
Mjelde took second on the beam with 8.65, tied for first with Enumlcaw’s Victoria Hernandez in the vault scoring 9.10 and second on the bars with 9.10.
She was fifth with her floor routine scoring 9.30.
Kalani Pinter was second on the vault with 8.60 and Hayley Rayburn scored 8.40 for fifth.
Rayburn was seventh on the floor with 8.85 and Pinter ninth with 8.65
All around, Rayburn was 10th with 28.65 and Pinter 11th with 28.55.
The 4A subdistrict meet is scheduled for Saturday at Mount Rainier High.
