Kyle Sherick, Tahoma sophomore, was one of 12 athletes named athlete of the week by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).

Kyle Sherick, Tahoma sophomore, was one of 12 athletes named athlete of the week by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).

Sherick hit two home runs against Kentridge in a three-game series, including a walk-off homer on April 28. The left-fielder also scored five runs, had five RBI and finished with a slugging percentage of .966.

In recognition of their accomplishment, each athlete winner receives a congratulatory letter from WIAA Executive Director, Mike Colbrese, a commemorative WIAA State Athlete of the Week t-shirt and a certificate.
