Tahoma soccer player shares MVP honors for SPSL North

Tahoma sophomore forward Mia Corbin shared MVP honors in the South Puget Sound League North All League teams with Kentridge senior midfielder Lexi Klinkenberg.

Tahoma sophomore forward Mia Corbin shared MVP honors in the South Puget Sound League North All League teams with Kentridge senior midfielder Lexi Klinkenberg.

A number of Tahoma, Kentwood and Kentlake players were named to the all league teams for girls soccer.

Corbin was also named to the first team at forward along with Kentwood’s Jennifer Oak, a junior.

Making second team at forward was Kentlake junior Timary Mathena while Tahoma’s Rachel Duty, a junior, and Zoe Millburn, a freshman, earned honorable mention.

Taking first team honors at midfield were Tahoma seniors Bailey Martoncik and Taylor Clarin as well as Kentwood senior Haley Higgins. Second team recognition went to Kentlake’s Hailey Hole, a senior, as well as Kentwood’s Bailey Griglio and Shannon Parmley. Kentlake sophomore Samantha Martin and Tahoma junior Cara Scammon earned honorable mention.

Kentwood senior Ashley Roslma made first team at defender while Kentlake sophomore Indi Planesi and Tahoma senior Alex Scott earned second team honors.

Kentwood senior goal keeper Megan Charlton was named to the first team while Tahoma senior keeper Jenna Sloan earned honorable mention.
