Tahoma snags one point win over Auburn Mountainview | Boys Basketball

The Tahoma basketball boys picked up a win Monday beating Auburn Mountainview 53-52. The Bears took on the Lions on the road in a nonleague game. Leading in the scoring category for Tahoma was Ryan Goodman with 16. Christian Behrens came in with eight points and Logan Gudde, also had eight.

Ethan McCormack dropped in five and Paul Loranger four.

Spencer Hobson, Dallin Munk, Dominic Smith and Coleman Wooten each hit three points.

Tahoma came out firing in the first frame putting up 15 points to Auburn Mountainview’s four.

In the second quarter the Bears knocked down 23 to 15 for the Lions.

The third quarter saw a turnaround for the Lions as the team dropped in 17 to four on the Tahoma side.

Tahoma came back with 11 points in the fourth and the Lions hit 16, but the Bears were able to hold onto a slim lead for the victory.

The Bears lost to Kent-Meridan 55-52 Dec. 17 in a South Puget Sound League North game.

Behrens led the scoring with 17 and Goodman hit for 10 in the losing effort.
