Tahoma Junior High’s Gold track team had a record breaking season this spring.
A trio of eighth grade records fell along with a seventh grade record.
Tyler Gage broke the record for the eighth grade 200 meter hurdles with a time of 27.35 seconds while Tanner Lobdell broke the seventh grade boys 400 record, stopping the clock in 58.86 seconds.
Kameron Granger set a new record in the 70 meter hurdles for eighth graders with a time of 11.04 while Sarah Sehrt broke the eighth grade girls high jump record with a leap of 5 feet.
At the district meet Sehrt, Gage, Granger and Ashley Roach all took first place in their respective events.
