Tahoma gymnastics take the win

On Wednesday, Jan. 10, Tahoma hosted a gymnastics meet against Enumclaw High School, Kentridge High School and Todd Beamer High School.

Tahoma led the way with a total of 153 points, giving them first place for this meet. Kentridge came in at a close second with 152 points in total.

Emma Rochleau, a sophomore, placed in five events, placing first in vault.

The Bear’s next meet is on Wednesday, Jan 17 at Kent-Meridian High School at 6:30 p.m. Auburn and Mount Rainer High School will also be participating in the meet.

In the varsity gymnastics standings, the Bears are in third place, right behind Kentlake High School in second place and Auburn Mountainview in first place.

Kentlake hosts their next meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16 against Auburn Mountainview, Auburn Riverside and Todd Beamer High School.

Kentwood High School is currently in thirteenth place and their next meet is a home meet as well, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16 against Decatur, Enumclaw and Hazen.
