Tahoma High graduate Megan Ganzer had a standout senior season on the volleyball court at Washington State University.
She was named to the All-Pac-12 Conference Volleyball team, the first Cougar player to be named to the team since LaToya Harris in 2002.
Ganzer, a 6-foot-3 outside hitter from Black Diamond, led WSU and the Pac-12 in kills per set and ended the season with 4.88 kills per set which put her at fifth in the country.
She also had a 5.38 point per set average which is second-best in Pac-12 and sixth-best nationally. Ganzer has accumulated 1,531 career kills which is third-best in WSU all-time records, and her 52 solo blocks is ninth-best in Cougar all-time records. She is also listed on WSU’s single season kills list with 595 in 2011 which is second-best all-time.
