Tahoma girls wrap up regular season with win | Track and Field

The Tahoma track and field team wrapped up the South Puget Sound League, 4A North Division regular season May 5 at Kentridge. The Tahoma High girls won 115-35. Kassie Jensen took the 100 meters in 13 seconds and the 200 in 27.13. Sierra Haverfield won the 400 in 62.9 and Chelsea Olson took the 800 in 2:28.7.

Kassie Jensen took the 100 meters in 13 seconds and the 200 in 27.13.

Sierra Haverfield won the 400 in 62.9 and Chelsea Olson took the 800 in 2:28.7.

Lauren Duty came in first in the 1,600 in 5:34.42 and Julianna Mock took the 3,200 in 11:55.4.

Tate Latimer won both hurdle events — the 100 in 15.21 and the 300 in 45.71.

Tahoma swept the relay events taking the 400 in 50.26 with Jensen, Cassidy Richmond, Paige Hammock and Mande McKinney running.

The Bears won the 800 with the team of Jensen, Hammock, McKinney and Latimer.

Winning the 1,600 was the team of Holly Pebles, Haverfield, Richmond and Lauren Clawson.

In the field events for the girls Saibra Rubadue took the shot put with a throw of 31 feet.

Nadine Hyde won the discus reaching 88-03.

The high jump was won by Katelyn Hengl clearing 4-08 and Bianca Walton took the triple jump reaching 36.

The boys team lost 94-51.

The Bears Derek Eager won two events in the field taking gold in the shot put hitting 51-10.50 and the discus with a throw of 163 feet.

Tanner Dunn took the javelin hitting 125-11.

In track events Casey Campbell won the 800 in 2:04.41 and the 1,600 in 4:46.28.

James Dagley won the 3,200 in 9:58.2
