While Tahoma’s Delaney Tiernan and Cheyenne Greenside sprinted to the finish almost neck and neck with identical times of 19 minutes, 41 seconds — Tiernan took first place — Bears senior Riley Campbell led the pack from wire to wire. He separated himself from the rest of the Tahoma pack behind him on the second loop then won in 16:06, more than 30 seconds ahead of teammate Graeme Schroeder, a sophomore.
