The Tahoma boys and girls cross country teams made the trip to the Sun Willows Golf Course Saturday to run in the 4A state cross country championship.
Both the teams finished in the top 10 and each team top runner placed in the top 10.
Individual runners from Kentwood and Kentlake joined the Bears for state meet
Tahoma
Girls
The Tahoma girls finished in the top 10 taking sixth scoring 203 points with seven runners competing.
Junior Breanna Glover took sixth place with a time of 18 minutes, 22.30 seconds.
Junior Katarina Zoselat ran 55th in 19:48.60 and Melinda Day, a sophomore ran 79th in 20:01.60.
Also running for Tahoma was Phoenix Aguilar, Kayla Contreras, Mattilyn Hohn and Moira Woods.
Boys
The Tahoma boys took seventh scoring 163 at the 4A state meet. Seven boys ran for the Bears in Pasco.
Dawson Besst, a junior, ran sixth in 15:41 followed by senior Colton Egberg at 25th in 16:16.30.
Feshman Brian Martinez ran 43rd in 16:30.9. Also running for the boys team was Devon Walters, Kobe Shields, Chandler Nill and Ethan Martin
Kentwood
Boys
Two boys competed at the 4A state meet Saturday in Pasco
Senior Harsimran Singh took 45th in 16:31.10 and Ross Principe ran 152nd in 17:57.60.
Girls
One runner on the girls side made the trip to Pasco for Kentwood. Senior Nicole Soleim ran 40th for the Conks in 19:35.30.
Kentlake
Boys
The Falcons sent one distance athlete to the 4A state games. Hezekiah Goodwin, a senior, ran 135th in 17:34.90.
