The Tahoma track and field team racked up team victories on both the girls and boys side April 22 at Kentlake.
The girls team won 200 to 64 over the Falcons.
Kentlake sprinter Madelayne Varela won three events, taking the 100 meter in 12.9 seconds, the 200 in 26.23 and the 400 in 59.97.
The Tahoma girls racked up a number of wins including a victory in the 800 with Lauren Clawson crossing the finish line in 2:28.15.
Julianna Mock won two, taking the 1,600 in 5:32.01 and the 3,200 in 11:53.
Tate Latimer took the 100 and 300 meter hurdles. She won the 100 in 15.27 and the 300 in 46.78.
The Bears swept the relays with Kassie Jensen, Cassidy Richmond, Brianna Hooks and Mande McKinney winning the 400 in 51.69.
Jensen, Bianca Walton, McKinney and Latimer won the 800 in 1:49.36.
Hooks, Sierra Haverfield, Richmond and Clawson won the 1,600 in 4:16.44.
In the field, Alivia Ward won the shot put reaching 32 feet, 1.5 inches and Saibra Rubadue took the discus with a throw of 96-7.
MaKensie Forehand was victorious in the javelin hitting 88-4.
Walton won the long jump with 16-09.25 and the triple jump reaching 37-07.25.
For Kentlake in the field, Erin Collins won the high jump clearing 5-02 and Julie Bolsted the pole vault at 8-0.
The boys team won 159-104.
Tahoma’s Cody Gilje won the 100 in 11.73 and Daniel Burt took the 400 in 54.61.
Kentlake’s Sean Cavanagh won the 200 in 24.28 and Joseph Thompson was first in the 800 in 2:07.82.
James Dagley won the 1,600 for the Bears in 4:43.23 and the 3,200 in 10:29.68.
Kentlake’s Jaron Heck took both hurdle events, the 100 in 15.56 and the 300 in 41.05.
Tahoma took both relay events with Gilje, Caleb Holloway, Aaron Davis and Niko Madison winning the 400 in 44.85.
Holloway, Nick Castagna, Jermy Voss and Daniel Burt won the 1,600 in 3:40.03.
Tahoma’s Derek Eager won the shot put reaching 55-01 and the discus with 181-04.
Kentlake’s Alex Straus won the high jump clearing 6-4.25 and Bryant Oxborrow the pole vault at 11-3.
Heck completed a four win day taking the long jump at 20-0 and the triple jump reaching 38-10.25.
