Zach Watson and Ryan Ota, both Tahoma High baseball players, helped their summer baseball team win the 18U Palouse Summer Series baseball tournament July 1-4, playing the final game at Washington State University.

Zach Watson and Ryan Ota, both Tahoma High baseball players, helped their summer baseball team win the 18U Palouse Summer Series baseball tournament July 1-4, playing the final game at Washington State University.

Zach Watson and Ryan Ota play for the Eastlake Sammamish Baseball Association Tigers 18U baseball team. Watson won the gold glove award for outstanding defense throughout the tournament. He also lead the team with four doubles and was the lead off batter.

Ota claimed the pitcher of the tournament award, throwing six innings and giving up only two earned runs in the finals.

The Tigers started out by losing their first two games in pool play. They stormed back, winning five in a row, beating the Seattle Rainiers in the semi finals 19-3 and the Columbia River Dogs in the finals 7-2.
