Penny’s Salsa won the coed softball championship crown Tuesday with a 19-9 victory over Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety team. Both teams started out scoring in the early innings, but the Penny’s Salsa team bats were hot and the team piled up the runs in the early innings.

Penny’s Salsa won the coed softball championship crown Tuesday with a 19-9 victory over Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety team.

Both teams started out scoring in the early innings, but the Penny’s Salsa team bats were hot and the team piled up the runs in the early innings.

The fire department team won the league with an 11-1 record and Penny’s Salsa came in second with 10-2.

The Penny’s Salsa team had lost to the fire department during the regular season. In the championship game the fielding and bats came through for Penny’s Salsa team.
