Boys tennis in the South Puget Sound League 4A, North Division is taking shape with Kentwood, Kentlake and Tahoma all battling for position.

The Conks are in second with a 7-2 record, Kentlake is fourth at 3-6 and Tahoma fifth at 2-7.

Tuesday’s team scores saw Auburn defeat Tahoma 4-1.

The Bears Alex Costanzo beat Auburn’s Eric Haugland in No. 1 singles play 0-1.

Kentridge took out Kentlake, 5-0 and Kentwood came out on top against Kent-Meridian 5-0.

Kentlake and Tahoma lined up against each other Oct. 1 at the Kentlake courts.

The Falcons came out with a 3-2 victory.

In the No. 1 singles match Costanzo beat Kyle Thomas.

Tahoma took on Kentridge Wednesday after the Reporter’s deadline while Kentwood faced Auburn and Kentlake played Kent-Meridian.
