Maple Valley-based non-profit Wings of Karen is hosting the inaugural 5K Bra Dash in which participants are encouraged to wear a bra over their shirts to toss in the air as they cross the finish line.

The event is set for Sept. 9 at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley. There is a 5K run as well as a 5K walk.
