Tahoma High School’s Kaiea Higa, softball, was selected as the Covington Maple Valley Reporter’s Female Athlete of the Week for March 22.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Principles of Biomedical Science
Q: What other activities do you participate in?
A: I enjoy listening to music, drawing, playing basketball and going to concerts.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My parents are the base of my successes.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: Before every defensive inning I step on the first or third base, depending on which dugout we are in. I have also made it a habit of high-fiving Coach Amanda every time after I step on the base.
