Kentlake High School’s Ethan Eastwood, swim, was selected as the Covington Maple Valley Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week for Jan. 4.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Science — I like the programs our school offers like Bio Med, Forestry, Wildlife UW, Chemistry and more.
Q: What other activities do you participate in?
A: When I have free time, I like to draw because I can escape into a new world. I also like to swim because it let’s me be competitive and represent my school — Go Falcons!
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My dad because he has been their since day one — we have been through so much, no one will break our bond. Thank you Dad.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: I listen to James Brown to help get me in the groove. I also look at a necklace my parents gave me, to see one of the reasons I am here today and who I am.
