Jack Pruitt scored five goals to lead Skyline to its eighth win of the season with a 12 – 5 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Tahoma, Wednesday at Tahoma High School.

The win brought the Spartans to within three games of Division I Northeast Conference leading Issaquah, while Tahoma slipped to eighth place in the Southwest Conference.

Pruitt also had an assist and five ground balls in the win, while goaltender Kyle Kuberski had 11 saves for the Spartans.

Skyline (8-4-0) next faces Eastside Catholic (7-2-0), Tuesday, April 24 in an 8 p.m. start at Skyline High School in Sammamish.

Tahoma (5-6-0) next faces King’s Way (6-3-0), Friday, April 20 in a 7 p.m. start at Columbia River High School.
