• Accomplishment: LaFranchi helped the Bears open the season on a winning note, rushing for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns on seven carries, leading Tahoma past Thomas Jefferson, 51-32.
• Favorite class: Leadership.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: (Former NFL running back) Emmitt Smith and I would serve prime rib and lobster.
• Also noted: LaFranchi is on Tahoma’s Leadership Retreat Executive Board (LREB) and helps out with young children at Camp Casey.
TAYLER ANGEVINE
Kentlake
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Football.
• Accomplishment: Angevine, a defensive back, helped put the Falcons in the win column last Friday, returning a fumble 18 yards for a touchdown in Kentlake’s 7-2 season-opening victory over Kentridge.
• Favorite class: AP Literature.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite Jessica Alba, of course, and I would serve some type of seafood.
• Also noted: Angevine plans on going into the medical field after graduation and aspires to become a radiologist.
DARRIUS COLEMAN
Kentwood
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Football.
• Accomplishment: Coleman rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns in his starting debut in Kentwood’s backfield, leading the Conquerors past Kennedy, 28-14, in a nonleague showdown last Saturday at Qwest Field.
• Favorite class: Math.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would like to invite (actress) Megan Good, my future wife, and I would serve whatever she likes.
• Also noted: Coleman aspires to play football at the college level and, one day, hopes to become an architect.
