Washington Synergy 98, a 12U fastpitch team made up of girls from South King County including Covington and Maple Valley, won four straight games to win the Kent Bash Tournament on April 23.

Anchored by efforts from starting pitchers Chenoa White and Mari del Fierro, along with solid relief from Sarah Lincoln, the girls put together an intimidating defense and stopped offenses cold.

Kaylee Hamilton made a diving catch in center with the bases loaded and two outs while Kendall Bird had unassisted double play in the bottom of the sixth that helped

preserve the win.

Offensively the team was led by Sam Noszlopy who hit an inside the park home run on a four RBI night and Morgan Cloud’s four double, five RBI effort.
