The 13th annual Maple Valley Volleyball Program for Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth grade girls in the Maple Valley area is now occurring.
Each year the program is growing in numbers and reputation. It is the only Volleyball program of this kind in the Puget Sound Area. These girls are learning the rules and skills of Volleyball, how to work together as a team and most importantly to have fun.
The program includes clinic style sessions, team practices and a tournament. Come watch these girls during the tournament on Wednesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 28 at the Tahoma Junior High School gym, starting at 6 p.m. The coaches and local Jr High & High School Volleyball players work with the girls to develop hitting, passing, digging, serving and setting skills.
The program is offered by Tahoma Learning Community and will prepare these girls for junior high school volleyball and club teams.
The program is run by the Tahoma Learning Community and directed by Jeff Potter.
