The Maple Valley Bombers 8U Select baseball team took second place in the Fourth of July Blast in Spanaway. They won their first three games earning them the No. 1 seed. The Bombers won the semifinal game pitting them against the North Seattle All-Stars in the title contest, but the All-Stars got the better of the Bombers, winning 9-4.
