Maple Valley based Summit Gymnastics Girl’s Artistic Team competed in the Chocolate Classic meet, their first of the season, on Oct. 29.

The meet was held at Leading Edge Gymnastics in Everett, Wash.

Athletes competed in four skills, uneven bars, vault, balance beam and floor routine. Summit gymnasts competed in level three and four.  Level three gymnasts Mickie Webbeking, Katelyn Rayburn and Rose Lastuka were not scored but received participation medals.

Level Four all-around scores (each for their own age group):

Zeah Lucero took second place with 32.9

Jenna Carlson tied for third place with 32.0

Hayley Rayburn took fourth place with 32.6

Julia Johns took sixth place with 31.5

All of these athletes also qualified to compete in the Shades of Autumn State Qualifier Meet on Nov. 19-20.
