After heading to state as the No. 7 seed, the Conks lost 1-0 in the first round
The Kentwood girls soccer team advanced to the 4A state tournament as the No. 7 seed.
The Conks beat the Tahoma Bears 1-0 Nov. 3 during the West Central/Southwest District tournament.
The win advanced Kentwood to face Union Nov. 5 and the Conks lost 2-0.
The first game of the state tournament was Tuesday and the Conks lost to West Valley from Yakima 1-0 bringing its season to an end.
Analysis: Seattle Mariners’ season remains “about as over as it gets without officially being over.”
The opening ceremony ruffled a few feathers, but when it came to the sports themselves, the fans were fantastic this year.
