Kentwood doubles team takes eighth at state | Tennis

Audrey Snider and Katherine Araki entered the 4A state tennis tournament representing Kentwood. On May 29 Snider and Araki lost their first match 2-0 to a pair from Skyline.

Audrey Snider and Katherine Araki entered the 4A state tennis tournament representing Kentwood.

On May 29 Snider and Araki lost their first match 2-0 to a pair from Skyline.

During their second match of the day, the pair won 2-0 over Bellarmine Prep.

And during their final match of the day, Snider and Araki beat a doubles team from Gig Harbor.

Entering play on May 30, Snider and Araki faced a doubles team from Thomas Jefferson.

The girls lost 2-0 and finished the state tournament in eighth place.
