A handful of South Puget Sound League North girls tennis matches were squeezed in before the rain drops began early this week.

Kentwood beat Tahoma 3-2 Tuesday, March 23.

In singles play the Conks’ Hicker beat Ashley Lucas 2-6,6-4,6-1 and Madalyn Turek for Tahoma beat Jamieson.

In doubles play Tess Manthou and Niki Skinner for Kentwood defeated Maira Bahlenhorst and Sierra Southworth, 6(4), 2. Eliana Spero and Alyssa Nagai for the Conks beat Wafa Tafesh and Amanda Harding 0,1.

Tahoma played Thursday, March 25, beating Kent-Meridian 5-0.

In singles play Lucas defeated Rosa Fernendez and Tafesh won.

In doubles play Southworth and Bahlenhorst won as did Harding and Turek.
