Kentlake takes two divers to the state competition | Prep Swim & Dive

The state swim and dive competition will be Nov. 14 and 15 at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way. The preliminary round will start at 2:30 p.m. on Friday

Two Kentlake divers are on their way to the state tournament this weekend.

Senior Lizzy Reichlinger and sophomore Katie Beliveau have both shown great development as divers this season, said coach Joseph Brace.

Reichlinger placed 10th last year at the state competition and Brace expects her to be in the top 5 this time around.

Beliveau, Brace said, shows “great promise” to be in the top 3 placement at state one day. Both divers have pushed themselves to take on higher degree of difficulty dives, he added.

Another diver, junior Ashley Lewis from Tahoma High School, will be the third competitor under Brace’s wing.
