Kentlake swimming defeated Tahoma in the first league dual meet of the season 98-87 at Covington Aquatic Center on Sept. 19.

Kentlake started the meet of with a bang, bringing home first place finishes in the first three events—the 200 medley relay, 200 free, and the 200 individual medley.

Despite only finishing first in four events—the 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, and 400 free relay—the depth of the Bears kept the score close throughout the meet.

The Falcon’s Kyndal Phillips qualified for State in the 200 free and 100 fly.
