The Kentlake High football team kept it perfect last week with a 56-22 drubbing of Thomas Jefferson at home Sept. 23.

The Kentlake High football team kept it perfect last week with a 56-22 drubbing of Thomas Jefferson at home Sept. 23.

The win gives the Kentlake team a 4-0 South Puget Sound League, 4A Division record and a share of the lead with Auburn at 4-0 and Kentwood at 3-0.

The Falcons scored two touchdowns in the first frame the three in the second.

Austin Pernell scored first on a kickoff return with Andrew Miccile kicking the extra point.

Stephon Vaifale scored on a 60-yard run for the second six and Caleb Saulo ran in from 1-yard out for the third score. Miccile added the extra point for each touchdown.

The fourth score came from a 4-yard Tanner Lucas run.

Pernell scored the next three touchdown, the first off a 24-yard pass from Saulo, the second on a 55-yard run and the third from a 9-yard pass from Saulo.

The final Kentlake score came from Vaifale 62-yard.

Kentlake will travel to Tahoma for a 7 p.m. game tonight, Friday.
