Tahoma dropped its first South Puget Sound League game yesterday to Kentlake 2-0.
Coach Tom Milligan said the Bears just couldn’t get their bats going.
“We gave up the 2 runs in the top of the first and could never get anything going offensively,” he said.
Lisa Maulden had the best game at the plate for Tahoma going 2 for 3 with a pair of singles as well as picking up a stolen base.
Sammi Jimenez pitched a complete game in the loss and rang up six strike outs while giving up two walks.
