Tahoma’s aggressive offensive attack on the pitch led to a 4-0 win over Snohomish Wednesday night in the 4A state girls soccer tournament.

It started off when Brie Hooks, coming up on the left side, passed to the ball across to Tori Tappero on the right who was waiting to take the shot.

In the 30th minute Mackenzie Henke dribbled up the left side around the Snohomish defender then passed it to Kaysha Darcy who scored her first goal of the match to make it a 2-0 Tahoma lead.

With 2 minutes and 14 seconds left in the first half, Darcy was in a one-on-one situation with the Snohomish keeper who had come out of goal. Darcy tried to shoot to the right and as the keeper dove the ball popped off the goalie’s boot and bounced into the net.

Henke put the exclamation point on the match for the Bears when she headed the ball off the rebound into the goal in the 48th minute.

Tahoma will take on Curtis at home at Maxwell Stadium Saturday.
