Tahoma’s bats were hot on April 4 against Auburn when it put together a 9-5 win.

Halle Elliot was 4-for-5, all of her hits were singles, with a run scored and a stolen base.Lauren Maulden finished the game 2-for-3 with a pair of singles, a double and an RBI.

Hayley Beckstrom was 2-for-5 at the plate with a pair of singles, two

RBIs, a stolen base and a home run.Walley and Beckstrom hit back-to-back home runs in the game.With the win, Tahoma improved to 5-1 in league and 6-3 overall and is alone in second place in the division.

Tahoma travels to Kent-Meridian Tuesday and hosts Kentlake Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Kentridge picked up its second league win with a 6-5 defeat of Mount Rainier on April 4.

Kayla Andrus was 2-for-4 at the plate with a single, a double and an RBI, Abagail Bellin was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, Hannah Overall was 2-for-4 with a single, a home run, a run scored and two RBIs while Jessica Torlai was 2-for-4 with a single, a double and two RBIs.

With the win the Chargers improved to 2-4 in league play.Kentridge hosts Kentwood, which is in third place in the division, on Tuesday.
