The season came to an end for the Kentwood Conquerors, Tahoma Bears and Kentlake Falcons this past weekend.
Their chances at the first round of the state championship fell short by one game.
The Conks hosted the Woodinville Falcons Friday.
Kentwood lost 24-10 ending its postseason run.
Tahoma
On Friday, the Bears traveled to Lake Stevens High School to face the number one 4A team in the state, the Lake Stevens Vikings.
The Vikings along with the top 10 player in the country, quarterback Jacob Eason, beat Tahoma 61-10.
The Bears only two scores came in the first quarter.
A 32 yard field goal brought the Bears within three early in the game.
And a 3 yard run by senior quarterback Amandre Williams added six more to Tahoma’s score.
After one, Tahoma trailed 13-10.
The remaining three quarters belonged to Lake Stevens.
The Vikings scored seven more times to finish the game.
The loss for Tahoma knocked the Bears out of the sweet 16.
Kentlake
The Falcons hosted the Battle Ground Tigers Saturday at French Field.
Kentlake lost its chance at a state bid losing 35-16 to the Tigers.
