The Kentlake Falcons girls basketball team is halfway through the West Central District tournament.
The Falcons won its game Saturday against Puyallup 55-35 after winning its first round game 53-29 over Kent-Meridian.
With the wins, the Falcons enter into the semi finals.
After the press deadline on Thursday the Falcons played Bellarmine.
If the girls won, Kentlake would face the winner of Todd Beamer and Gig Harbor in the district championship game on at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at Puyallup High School.
If the Falcons lost, Kentlake would face the loser of Todd Beamer and Gig Harbor in a seeding game for state.
State begins with the regional rounds on Friday, Feb. 26.
Tahoma
The Tahoma girls basketball team lost its first round game 64-50 to Bellarmine on Feb. 11.
In a loser out game, Tahoma beat Emerald Ridge 53-34.
The Bears played Curtis on Tuesday and lost 35-20 in a loser out game.
Tahoma ended the season with a 4-4 record in conference and 15-9 overall.
Boys Basketball
The Kentwood Conks have won two in a row beating Emerald Ridge 58-41 in the first round and Olympia 53-42 in the second.
The Conks were set to face the 4A defending state champions the Federal Way Eagles Wednesday after the press deadline.
With a win, Kentwood would advance to the district championship game scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at Puyallup High School.
If the boys lost to Federal Way, the Conks will face the loser of the Bellarmine and Curtis game for seeding entering state.
The regional rounds of state for boys basketball begins on Friday, Feb. 26.
Kentlake
The Falcons season came to an end Friday with a 60-56 loss to South Kitsap.
The loss came after losing the first round to Curtis 83-45.
Kentlake ends the season with a 12-12 overall record.
