Covington-Maple Valley Preps of the Week for Oct. 22 are Danny Lunder, Sarah Robbins, Kacie Seims and Kristin Ainsworth.

DANNY LUNDER, Kentwood

Grade: Junior.

Sport: Cross country.

Accomplishment: Lunder ran a season-best 16:25 in a three-team meet last week that also included Kent-Meridian and Thomas Jefferson.

Favorite class: APLAC.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite the entire cross country team because they’re all amazing. I would serve pasta just like the cross country pasta feeds.

Greatest athletic moment: Making it to the state cross country meet last season.

Most current book read/author: “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

What’s on your iPod?: “Club can’t handle me” by Flo Rida.

Also noted: Lunder is just as good in the classroom as he is on the cross country trails, sporting a 3.84 grade-point average.

SARAH ROBBINS, Kentlake

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Cross country.

Accomplishment: Robbins completed a 3.1-mile course against Tahoma and Auburn Riverside in 20:05, which was good enough for a solid second-place finish in a three-team meet.

Favorite class: Calculus.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (chef) Bobby Flay and serve whatever he was making.

Greatest athletic moment: Breaking 20 minutes on our home course.

Favorite movie: Inception. What’s currently playing on your iPod: “Just the way you are” by Bruno Mars.

KACIE SEIMS, Kentwood

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Volleyball.

Accomplishment: Seims dished out a season-high 30 assists to go along with 11 digs and four aces, leading the Conquerors past Auburn Riverside 25-13, 25-15, 26-24 in a South Puget Sound League North Division match on Oct. 13. Favorite class: AP Language and Composition.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Johnny Cash. I would serve southern BBQ.

Greatest athletic moment: Going to districts for javelin in the past two track seasons.

What’s on your iPod?: Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Trey Songz, Kid Cudi.

KRISTIN AINSWORTH, Tahoma

Grade: Sophomore

Sport: Swimming

Accomplishment: Ainsworth has racked up the qualifying times swimming for the Bears this fall. By the end of the regular league dual meet season she had qualified for five events for the district meet as well as posting state qualifying times for the 100 yard breaststroke and 200 yard individual medley.

Favorite class: English

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite and what would you serve? My dad and I would serve ice cream.

What is your favorite athletic moment: My first swim meet when I was 11 years old.

What’s currently playing on your iPod? I’m not sure, probably a country song
