Caiden Gelowicz of the Maple Valley Bombers 9U select baseball team took second place in the Rebels skill competition Saturday.

The Rebels were hosting a skills competition at Varsity Baseball in Kent as part of the team’s fundraising. Gelowicz ran a number of drills, including agility, speed, fielding, bunting and batting. Gelowicz has been a Bomber for two years and plays baseball in the fall and spring and participates in summer tournaments.

He received a Rawlings bat bag and Demarini Pro maple wood bat.
