BOYS GOLF: Tahoma returns trio of seniors for 2009 campaign

The Tahoma Bears boys golf team is ready and willing to hit the links for the opening of the season. The team came in second last year in the South Puget Sound League, North Division and this year's team is shaping up to be a contender. Returning seniors for the team include CJ Munko, who played in the state tournament last year, Jon Choi and Alex Taylor.

Steve Sveda, a sophomore, is also returning from last year’s campaign.

The team lost two members to graduation, Danny Swinford and Jeremey Johnson, who is playing for Green River Community College.

The first match tee time will be 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on the Bears’ home turf, Lake Wilderness Golf Course, playing Kentwood High.

The girls will be on the road against Kentwood with a 3:15 tee time at the Meridian Valley Country Club.
