Tahoma’s 9-5 victory Wednesday marked head coach Russ Hayden’s 300th career win. Hayden, in his 22nd year as Tahoma’s coach, said Thursday that he never expected to last beyond two years.
“It’s fun to hit a milestone,” he said. “I love the game. If you’re not competitive it rubs off on the team. I want them to be dedicated.”
The win kept the Bears undefeated in the conference, 4-0, and 7-1 overall.
