The annual mail carriers food drive was a very successful day at the Covington Post Office on May 13th. Over 14,000 pounds of food was picked up, sorted and boxed by about 30 volunteers. This food will be distributed to needy families by the Storehouse.

Each year, the mail carriers work hard to distribute post cards and bags so that food can be left at mailboxes to be picked up on the annual Mail Carrier’s Food Drive day. This is typically the day before Mother’s Day.
