Tonya Lynn Snyder was born on May 24, 1971 in Renton, Wash. and passed away on June 26, 2009 in Covington, Wash. She was a very outspoken woman who enjoyed photography, traveling, reading murder mysteries and true crime stories. She also loved nature especially gardening and caring for animals. She was survived by her fiancé, Reed Larson of Covington, and his sons Cameron and Chase, sister; Melissa Barkus of Burien, aunts and uncles Jane an Dean Barkus of Enumclaw, Toni and John Christianson of La Conner and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gary and Mychael Barkus and sister Sarah Barkus.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Edline-Yahn and Covington Funeral Chapel.
