Samantha “Sam” Odegard, also know as Deborah Sigle (Kopecky)was born Sept. 9, 1953 and died May 23, 2009. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a true blessing to anyone who knew and loved her. She worked for the King County Library System for nearly 18 years, most at the Covington Library, and truly enjoyed her work.

She touched so many lives over the years and was always there when needed.

She is preceded in death by her father John “Fang” Sigle, second husband Mitch Kopecky, brother Charlie Sigle, and niece Robin Nunes. She leaves behind her husband Brian Odegard, daughter Barb Ray, son Nicholas Kopecky, granddaughters, Kayla, Jayden, and Mackenzy. Sisters Penelope Taro and Nan Sigle, Brother Jim Sigle, mother Barb Hille, step dad Jerry Hille, first husband Bill Ray and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held from 12-3.p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the VFW Hall located at 416 Burnett Avenue S. – Renton.
