Royce Lamb

Royce Lamb, age 78, of Maple Valley passed away April 2, 2009. Royce was born June 28, 1930 in Jamestown, NY and is a 1948 graduate of Renton High School.Preceded in death by her parents Lydia and Carl Kreutz and her loving husband of 55 years, Dale Lamb who passed away April 27, 2008.She married Dale in 1953 and moved to Maple Valley in 1962 to raise their 3 Children. Royce worked for Seattle First National Bank in Seattle, Renton and Maple Valley branches for 26 years and after three robberies, decided to change occupations. She then spent 17 years as the bookkeeper for Ralphs Thriftway, today’s QFC, in Maple Valley, retiring in 1992. Royce enjoyed gardening, especially her dahlias and making beautiful hanging flower baskets every summer.Royce is survived by her children Randy (Rhonda) Lamb, Kim (Bruce) Hasson, Lisa (Ron) Hanson, stepson Gary (Nolene) Vena, seven grandchildren and two great grand children.A memorial service was held at the Maple Valley Presbyterian Church on Saturday April 11, 2009.
