Kevin Brent Conklin, of Maple Valley, passed away after his short battle with stomach cancer on March 1, 2011, at the age of 38.

Kevin was born Jan. 22, 1973, in State College, Pa., the son of Steve and Doris Conklin. He was raised in Sandy Springs, Ga. and graduated from North Springs High School in 1991. He moved to Federal Way, and joined Xerox Corporation in December 1996.

On Aug. 23, 2003, he married Jenene Patterson. He was a devoted husband and father to his 4-year-old daughter. Family and friends were very important to Kevin and he enjoyed traveling with them, fishing and golfing. He will be remembered for his upbeat positive outlook on life and his never ending generosity.

Survivors include his wife, Jenene and his daughter Natalie Jean of Maple Valley; parents Steve Conklin and Doris Conklin Waller; sister, Sally McDaniel of Auburn and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was Friday, March 4, 2011 at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Course.
