Donald Louis Krall

Donald “Don” Krall, age 82, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2010 at Swedish Hospital in Seattle with his family by his side. He was born December 29, 1927 in Hobart, WA. Don attended Hobart Grade School and Tahoma High School. From 1945-1946 he was a member of the US Coast Guard. He worked for the Olympic Parking Garage in Seattle from 1948-1963. He was also a long hauler for Sears from 1963-1981. He was a selflessly devoted husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend. Throughout his life he enjoyed being at the beach, taking care of his cars, and being with his family. Don is survived by his loving wife Nancy of 65 years; his daughters Karrie (Jim) Porter, Susan (Peter) Lambro; his sons Jeffery Krall, and Todd (Tammy) Krall; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Louis and Emily Krall; sisters Marie, Emily, and Ann; brothers Henry and Larry. Don lived in the Renton area for most of his life. Don and Nancy retired in Westport, WA for 20 years. Most recently they moved back to Renton area again. Arrangements are being made by Greenwood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests to donate to your favorite charity.
