Youth With Special Needs fishing derby to be held in Auburn

The city of Auburn and the Lions of zone C-3, including those from Covington and Kent, are sponsoring the 9th annual Youth With Special Needs fishing derby from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 27 at Auburn Mill Pond Park.

The city of Auburn and the Lions of zone C-3, including those from Covington and Kent, are sponsoring the 9th annual Youth With Special Needs fishing derby from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 27 at Auburn Mill Pond Park.

Special needs youth from pre-school through high school are invited to attend with their siblings and friends and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

A limited amount of fishing rods and bait will be provided. Free expert fishing lessons will also be available.
