Youth drawing contest for CAToberfest

A drawing contest for youths age 4–14 will be featured at CAToberfest, the annual celebration of cats. The event is hosted by South County Cats, a local non-profit, all-volunteer spay/neuter assistance organization.

A drawing contest for youths age 4–14 will be featured at CAToberfest, the annual celebration of cats. The event is hosted by South County Cats, a local non-profit, all-volunteer spay/neuter assistance organization.

CAToberfest will be  1 to 4p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Maple Valley Community Center, 22010 SE 248th Street.

Entries can be any medium and must be on letter-size, 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper. The entry must include child’s name, age, address and email or phone number and written consent of parent or guardian on the back upper left corner. CAToberfest will be Saturday, Oct. 1, 1 to 4p.m. at the Maple Valley Community Center, 22010 SE 248th Street.

Drawing contest entries will be displayed at the event and attendees will vote for the winner in each age group. Admission is free.

Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the end of the event.
