Art submissions from Covington students in kindergarten through high school will be on display during the ninth annual Student Art Show in March.

The display is part of the Covington Arts Commission’s recognition of March, which is designated nationally as Student Art Month. The month-long event showcases art inside participating Covington businesses. In 2013, over 875 pieces of artwork were featured in 21 different businesses.

The art show kicks off with an informal reception at Covington City Hall on Monday, March 3 from 6-7 p.m. During the reception students and families will receive a list of businesses in Covington that are featuring their work.

That list will also be made available for download at www.CovingtonWA.gov.
