Young boy allegedly walked down SR 169 alone | Covington & Maple Valley Police Blotter

All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

• On April 5 at 7:48 p.m. officers responded to the report of a family disturbance in the parking lot of the Covington City Hall.

Officers responded to a verbal argument between two brothers on March 28. The dispute was regarding the sale of their deceased father’s vehicle.

ASSAULT

• On March 31 officers responded to the report of a Kentwood student assaulting another.

BURGLARY

• It was reported on March 31 that unknown subjects entered the reporting party’s unsecured residence. Items were taken from the home.

HARASSMENT

• On March 31 the reporting party told officers that a subject was harassing him. Officers then learned that the reporting party was really the one doing the harassing and was using the police to get him into trouble.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On April 1 the reporting party told officers they saw a young boy walking down the shoulder of state Route 169. She told officers once she turned around to check on him, he was no longer there.
