Woman is speeding, has no insurance and has a warrant out for her arrest | Black Diamond Police Blotter

An officer observed a vehicle traveling faster than the 35 mph posted speed limit along the 23000 block of SE 288th Street. The officer stopped the woman and she stated she had no excuse for speeding and added that she did not have insurance for the vehicle.

SPEEDING: 23000 block of SE 288th Street. An officer observed a vehicle traveling faster than the 35 mph posted speed limit along the 23000 block of SE 288th Street.  The officer stopped the woman and she stated she had no excuse for speeding and added that she did not have insurance for the vehicle.  A records check of the driver showed her license was suspended and there was an active misdemeanor warrant for her arrest out of Covington.  The woman was booked into Enumclaw jail on the warrant and issued a criminal citation for the suspended license.

WARRENT: Lake Sawyer Grocery Store. An officer observed a vehicle park at the Lake Sawyer Grocery Store.  A routine records check showed the female registered owner of the vehicle had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest out of Bonney Lake.  The officer contacted the woman and confirmed her as the wanted subject.  The woman was placed under arrest and booked into Enumclaw jail.
